Jeep Tour Guide Job - Year round employment with a flexible schedule.
We are hiring for two shifts/ routes: This job opening is for our day and evening City tours as well as our Muir Woods and Sausalito tours:
- Day and Evening City Tours
- Muir Woods & Sausalito Tours.
What we are looking for in a tour guide candidate:
- Californial Drivers Lisc with clean driving record.
- Pass pre-empoyment drug test.Â
- Must be punctual
- Must be available for 4-5 days a week. See schedule below.
- Neat appearance
- Energetic, and comfortable outdoors in Bay Area wet, chilly and foggy weather.
- Great people skills
- Ability to manage small groups of people, and speak loudly
- Foreign language skills a plus.
- Interested in talking about the history of San Francisco, Golden Gate Park, North Beach, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Chinatown
- Knowledge of San Francisco is a big plus. We will provided complete training as a guide.
- Let us know if you have acting or theatrical experience.
- Candidate must be available for a minimum of 4 days a week.
Schedule: Part time on call position with some flexibility in scheduling. Each tour requires a 4 1/2 to 8 hour shift. Work Schedule: Weekends & 3 other days.
Note: From APRIL through OCTOBER: We are very busy during the summer travel season so vacation breaks are not available during this period. Vacation / time off is scheduled during slower Fall & Winter seasons.

Compensation:
Paid training at $16.50 per hour (will be adjusted based on local minimum) , Tour Guide rate starting at $ 18.15 per hour. Other Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K and guest / private tour gratuities.

Office Reservation and Operations Staff
Shifts Available:Â Part time, but full time schedule may be available for qualified candidates. Must be able to work 10 hour shifts: including availability on weekends. Shift schedule is adjusted to 8 hour days in the off season.

What we are looking for in an Office Staff candidate:Â We need energetic, charismatic individuals who are natural problem solvers and always well-prepared. The ability to multi-task under very busy conditions while maintaining composure is essential. This is a fast-paced position, but a rewarding one as well. You will be working on the front line with our customers and need to have great customer service skills. A current California Drivers License is necessary. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:

Insure that our guests have a great tour experience.

Phone / on-line reservations and tour order and private group paperwork.
- Open and / or close shop.

Cleaning of Jeeps – Example: Washing, Covid Cleasning protacol, tire pressure & schedule matainence with outside shop.

General shop upkeep.

Occasional driving.

Call Center Reservation Agent
We are hiring for one location:  Fisherman’s Wharf
Shifts Available:Weekends: Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Part time.

What we are looking for in an Call Center Agent candidate:Â We need energetic, charismatic individuals who are natural problem solvers and always well-prepared. The ability to multi-task under very busy conditions while maintaining composure is essential. This is a fast-paced position, but a rewarding one as well. You will be working with our customers via phone & email and need to have great customer service, verbal communication, data entry, phone and computer skills. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:

Handling incoming telephone calls, order emails and on-line guest questions through Zendesk.

You will be assisting customers by determining requirements; answering inquiries; resolving problems; maintaining and entering orders.

Sells our tours by recommending what tour would work best for each group.

Booking Private tours.

Maintain call center database by entering & confirming orders and updating our tour / staffing calendar.
Compensation:
